Corporals Isaac Kumar and Omar Daniel both police officers have been arrested for robbery.
The two police officers, were arrested with two civilians while attempting to rob a gold miners at the galamsey site in Dunkwa-on-Offin Central Region of Ghana.
The Dunkwa District police Commander, ASP Dela Dzansi, confirmed the two police officers were fully armed and attempted to steal some unspecified amounts and gold items from the galamsey site.
The officers and the two accomplices have been handed over to Manso Nkwanta police division in the Ashanti region.
