President Buhari mourn the death of former military Governor of Kaduna State, Brigadier Abba Kyari, who died last night and was buried according to Islamic rites in Apo cemetery in Abuja.
The late General was born in 1938 and he was the Military Governor of the defunct North Central State – now Kaduna and Katsina States respectively during the military regime of General Yakubu Gowon.
The funeral prayer was held at the National Mosque after Zuhr prayer.
Among those that attended the burial include the Chief of Staff to the President and his name same, Alhaji Abba Kyari; Governor of Borno Kashim Shettima and Kaduna Nasir El-rufai; Senator Danjuma Goje; retired Admiral Murtala Nyako; retired General Abdurahman Danbazau; Colonel Mailmalari; Minister of Water Resources, Alhaji Suleman Adamu among many others.
His children Senator Abubakar Abba Kyari and Dawud Abba Kyari prayed for the repose of the soul of their father.
