A bricklayer identified as Archibong Koko, has been arrested by the Lagos State police for allegedly defiling a 5 year-old girl in his neighborhood, while the mother was asleep.
The victim’s mother said she was asleep when the girl left her room,
and didn’t know what had happened until she saw her daughter not walking properly, so she questioned her and the girl revealed an abuse on her.
The victim was taken to the hospital where the doctor confirmed that she was violated and her hymen was ruptured.
But the suspect however denied the allegation.
He said, “I am a bricklayer. I know the girl and her parents but I did not rape her. She did not come to my room. I am innocent of the allegations.”
